Haven Fellowship Church cares for the community in many ways. We do want to share with those who are open to hearing the good news of Jesus Christ. Our emphasis tends, however, to not be on pressuring people and constant counting. Rather we are concerned with welcoming individuals who sense God moving in their lives and who feel that Haven Fellowship Church is a people and a place where God is calling them to worship, study, share, and serve.

In our church's outreach and invitation to potential followers of Jesus, we do not rush people to make a decision. Instead we invite others to spend time with us, get to know us, and get to know more about their own faith in Christ. We want people to move at the pace they sense God calling them to follow Christ in community with our church or with other communities of faith. We want people to develop a relationship with Christ and with the church, so that we all can follow Jesus together.

In addition to having outreach elements built into the entire life of the church, our church nominates an Outreach Team of church participants who mobilize the people of the church to welcome guests and share with others.
