Spring Reminders of Resurrection &New Life
He is not here for He is risen.
-Matthew 28:6
If you are looking for something interesting, just check out the weather. It is the part of Spring I find most fascinating.
We hit a stretch of weather when everything starts to “wake up” only to be reintroduced to a blast of cold air. But that doesn’t keep the green from coming. For me it is a visual reminder of Easter. Just when the darkness thought it had won, Jesus burst forth from the tomb.

Who's Ready for NEW Mission Project?
Come support the Haven Kids as they raise funds for Phoenix Pass.
Make sure you sponsor a child (or two or three!) as they raise money by doing laps at the church for the children’s mission project: Bike/Trike-A-Thon! This exciting event will be on Saturday, May 14th at 8:30AM.
We want to make the children aware of our sponsors, what they do, and of the importance of supporting them!

CBF Providing Relief in Ukraine
We are partnered with CBF, who currently have missionaries on the ground providing aide to those in Ukraine.
The Podgaiskys, in Kyiv, Ukraine, are working through their networks to provide friends and neighbors with evacuation information and connecting Ukrainians to resources in the country such as transportation, relocation to safety, shelters and contact information for medical advice and the location of food/shelter. They are also sending funds to trusted ministry partners and individuals in Kyiv, Romania and Spain to provide humanitarian relief.
The McNarys, located in Slovakia, are providing support to the Slovak Baptist Union as well as three churches. The Slovak Baptist Union is currently (March 15) housing nearly 100 refugees from Ukraine.
Youth Mission Trip
The Youth went to Atlanta for March Mission Madness, March 18-20, for a weekend of worship and service sponsored by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia.
