UPDATE: Event moved online
Due to the threat of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the CDC’s advice not to meet in groups weeks we won’t be able to do this event in person. We’ll still plan on making March 29 a special family Sunday online and hope you join us on Facebook Live!
Join us for Family Sunday (Online) at Haven
In the midst of uncertainty and tragedy we have a rare opportunity to learn how to worship God in our homes and in our families. Join us Sunday, March 29 for an action packed worship service and a unique online experience designed to help you connect with God, your family, and the Haven Church community from your home!
What Will be Different?
This Sunday will be a completely live stream experience so we are really ramping up the energy and fun factor beyond what we’d do on an ordinary Sunday!
Ready, Set, Music!
Unfortunately, we can’t have the kids choir sing. Instead, we’ll be singing two songs from this past year’s VBS. You can practice these songs as a family and sing along on Sunday with the motions! You won’t be alone. Pastor Ernie and Josh will be doing a dance off to one of these songs live on Facebook!
A Dynamic Message about God's Protection
Pastor Ernie will tag team with Josh for an uplifting message about God’s presence and protection from the Bible story of Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego. You can expect a more interactive, faster paced message that speaks to both adults and children inspiring people of all ages to experience God’s love in new ways.
How do I watch?
There are two ways to watch live:
- Watch online on Facebook Live. This is recommended so you can engage with others by posting comments, uploading photos, and letting Pastor Ernie and Josh know who you think is the better dancer. Be sure to like our Facebook Page to be notified when we go live.
- Watch here on the website on the LIVE page.
What if I don't Have Kids?
This message and service is for everyone! We believe that children, youth, and adults of all ages will enjoy the service and be blessed by sharing in the joy kids participating in worship.
Is this a separate worship service?
No, this will be in our regular Sunday morning worship service at 10:00 AM.
Will there be Food?
Hopefully! You’ll be meeting in your own home so we highly encourage you to have a bunch of snacks on hand to get the most out of Family Sunday.
