Hearts of Haven Atlanta Day Trip: Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum
Looking for senior adult activities in Conyers? Join Hearts of Haven, our senior adult ministry, for a fun day of fellowship, food, and history as we travel to Atlanta to visit the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum.
This special outing was one of the activities requested by members during our first Hearts of Haven gathering, and we’re excited to enjoy it together. We’ll begin the day with lunch at Atlanta’s iconic Varsity Restaurant before touring the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library, where we’ll explore exhibits highlighting President Carter’s life, presidency, and humanitarian work. Guests will also have the opportunity to see a replica of the Oval Office and other fascinating historical artifacts.
Whether you’re a longtime member or looking to connect with other senior adults in the Conyers area, this promises to be a wonderful day of friendship, learning, and fun.
