A Weekend that Makes a Difference
March Mission Madness (MMM) is a weekend retreat for youth (grades six-twelve) to gather together for worship, fellowship, and a full day of mission work in local Georgia communities.
This year we will be going to FBC Athens and sharing God’s love with the Athens community.
It’s our prayer that this event will make a true difference. We believe that the work the students do and the love that they share can make a profound difference in Athens to help people see and experience God’s love. We are also confident that through worship, service, and getting to know one another and make new friends with students from churches throughout GA that this event will make a difference in their lives as well. We look forward to seeing kids grow in their understanding and experience of God!

Our host churches are working now to secure sites with local agencies, such as
- home repair
- painting
- homeless ministries
- food and clothing ministries
- cleaning, and
- landscaping
Our cost for MMM is $25 per participant.
The cost includes Saturday lunch and dinner, mission supplies, recreation,
program costs, a t-shirt and lodging.
We are able to keep the cost per student very low with the help of generous funding from Haven and the contribution of FBC Athens & CBF of GA.
The CBF/GA staff uses wristbands to divide students and chaperones into mission groups. Wristbands are distributed to group leaders at registration on Friday night. Our Group leaders will distribute wristbands to our students and chaperones. Each group will also have driver assignments who are responsible for helping with transportation to and from the mission sites.
Absolutely! March Mission Madness offers a fun way to get plugged in at Haven with music, missions, and plenty of community building.
