Would you like to understand the Story of Scripture?
The Bible is not merely a collection of moral lessons or disconnected stories. It is one unified, unfolding story of God’s redemption—centered on Jesus Christ.
This Spring Bible Study will help us see how the entire Bible fits together, how Christ stands at the center of it all, and how we find our place within God’s great story.
As a church, we are walking through our 2026 theme: “The Story of Scripture: Christ Revealed from Creation to New Creation.” At our Spring Bible Study we will explore the biblical story in order to deepen our understanding and strengthen our confidence in reading God’s Word faithfully and clearly.

Session Overviews
Session 1: Why the Story of Scripture Matters
(Sunday Morning Sermon)
The Bible is one unfolding story of redemption, not a random collection of moral examples. In this session, we will explore why understanding the grand narrative of Scripture transforms the way we read every passage—from Genesis to Revelation.
Session 2: The Big Story in Seven Stages
(Sunday Evening Group Session)
We will trace the entire Bible through seven major movements:
- Creation
- Rebellion
- Promise
- Christ
- Mission
- Judgment
- New Creation
Seeing these stages clearly helps us understand where any passage fits within God’s redemptive plan.
Session 3: Finding Yourself in the Story
(Sunday Evening Group Session)
How do Israel, Jesus, and the Church shape the way we read Scripture? This session will help us understand how God’s people across history fit into the one story—and where we find our place in Christ’s ongoing mission.
Session 4: Reading Any Passage in Light of the Story
Wednesday Hands-On Session
This practical session will guide us through a real-time exercise, learning how to read any passage of Scripture within the larger biblical narrative. You will leave with a clearer framework for personal Bible study.
