Overcoming Life's Pressure
About James
James is one of the 21 epistles, or letters, of the New Testament. Like all of the epistles it addresses real life issues the church faces and can guide us in how to follow God today. It stands out as being one of the most practical of all letters with clear advice on facing life’s challenges and pressure.
For James the ethical implications of following Jesus extend to every aspect of the Christian life; and what it means to be a Christian is illustrated by concrete examples from a wide variety situations ranging from personal disappointment to business planning.
