Get Ready for Something NEW

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

– 2 Corinthians 5:17

When I think of our theme for this year, “Made New,” I am reminded of these words from Paul to the church in Corinth.

So, get ready. Just ahead of us are new blessings, new trials, new failures, and new victories as we serve Christ together.

What's NEW at Haven?

NEW Ministry Year Kickoff

Haven is a volunteer-led church where we come together as believers to not just experience God’s love but to actively share that love with others in service and ministry. The Ministry Team leaders kicked off the new year on Sunday, January 9. They met in-person and on Zoom to look ahead to 2022 and brainstorm new ideas to try new activities and new communication to invite new people to participate at Haven. Ministry Teams have begun scheduling meetings and making plans to serve in 2022.

Reaching NEW People with Online Worship & Outreach

COVID took all of us by surprise. As we started last year in the midst of an ongoing pandemic, we felt called by God to “step up and step out in faith” in 2021.

We focused with new energy on reaching our church family and community using new online tools including livestreaming and Zoom video conferences. It’s amazing to see how God has used this challenging time to help equip us to reach more people in new ways!

New friends and family found us online in 2021
