Part-time Worship Leader Position

Job Description
Position Title: Part-time Worship Leader
Location: Haven Fellowship Church, 2240 Smyrna Rd SW, Conyers, GA 30094
Position Summary: The Worship Leader at Haven Fellowship Church will lead and develop the music ministry, ensuring that all musical aspects of worship glorify God and encourage the congregation. This role requires a Christ-centered individual who is collaborative, musically skilled, and capable of leading rehearsals and congregational worship.

1. Spiritual Leadership
- Demonstrate a strong personal faith and commitment to ChristÂ
- Treat others with respect and see them as children of GodÂ
- Act as an encourager within the church communityÂ
2. Collaboration:
- Work effectively with multiple teamsÂ
- Maintain a humble attitude
- Willing to seek guidance when needed and be open and flexible
- Willing to contribute knowledge to the churchÂ
3. Musical Expertise:
- Have strong singing abilitiesÂ
- Understand vocal ranges and how to coach good techniquesÂ
- Plan and lead worship services with confidence and knowledge
- Choose music that is appropriate and achievable for the group
- Ability to play guitar or piano preferableÂ
Additional InformationÂ
This part-time Worship Leader position requires a commitment of 8-12 hours per week. Qualified candidates can expect a monthly compensation ranging from $1,000 to $1,500.
