September Newsletter
As the Coronavirus continues to create uncertainty, I thank you for your patience and understanding. We often have to delay announcing what we can and cannot do. Unfortunately, it will be the same for the upcoming Harvest Festival. This annual event is on hold until which time we can determine the possibility of safely making it happen. Please stay tuned for further information.

Reopening Update
Our reopening plan has gone smoothly so far with in-person worship on Sunday mornings and in our cars on Wednesdays. We are excited to begin the next phase of reopening: Sunday School!
Current Phase – In-Person Worship & SUNDAY SCHOOL!
- In-person Sunday School at 9:00 AM starting September 13.
- In-person Sunday worship at 10:00 AM.
- Drive-In Wednesday prayer meeting at 6:45 PM.
- Safety measures for all Haven activities: wearing masks, hand sanitizer and washing hands, and maintaining at least 6 feet distance between family units.
- We will continue to offer online options for those who can’t join us in person.

Next Phases
- We are slowly phasing in more event planning while still maintaining caution in the midst of declining, but still high COVID-19 numbers.
The Shepherds are continuing to meet regularly as they lead and work alongside other ministry leaders.

While 2020 has put a damper on so many of our plans and activities at Haven we are moving forward with planning for 2021 and claiming it will be a much better year!
The Nominating Team is looking for volunteers who would like to serve on our various ministry teams for 2021. We hope that everyone who comes to Haven will plug into a team and serve, there are so many options!
Events & Activities
Sunday School
Starting September 13, we are meeting in person for Sunday School at 9:00 AM. If you can’t meet in person, please contact the church. We’d love to help connect you with a remote Bible study group.
Worship
Join us Sunday at 10:00 AM in person or online. We’ll have music, prayer, and a practical message. Along with staff leading the service live you will also see different church members reading scripture and praying each week. You can watch and interact on Facebook or watch online here on website.

Wednesday Drive-In
As we continue to help stop the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing we are excited to have a safe way to meet together in person. On Wednesdays at 6:45 PM we are offering a drive-in prayer meeting & Bible Study.
Ornament Painting Party
We are planning a painting party for Sunday, October 25, at 1:00 PM. We will once again be painting Christmas ornaments from the Sketching Pad! The cost is $8.00 per ornament. If you came last year you will remember how much fun we had and how beautiful all the ornaments were! We will begin at 1:00 PM to give everyone time to get lunch and meet back at church.
