Christmas traditions: old & new

Christmas traditions differ for every family. Part of the Christmas tradition within our Haven family is Advent. Whether that is a foreign concept to you, or you have eagerly anticipated it for months, I hope you will take a serious look at what Advent offers as we move toward the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light… For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, Isaiah 9:2,6

Hanging of the Green

November 24 // We will be “Hanging the Green” on Sunday following worship. Lunch will be provided! Join us as we decorate the church for Christmas.

Advent Worship Service

December 1 // Do you want to draw closer to Jesus this Christmas? Begin your Christmas season with our family friendly Advent worship service with music, traditional advent candle, decorating the Christmas tree and more. Experience the gift of Advent!

Operation Christmas Child

We have set our goal of sending 100 boxes this year. The due date to return them is November 20th and the shipping cost is $10/box. So, pack a Shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. You are sure to put a smile on the face of a child that may not have known Christ’s love if not for your time, effort, and generosity.

Food for Youth Thanksgiving Baskets

Youth Holiday Baskets

Haven Fellowship has raised over $4,000 for the Youth’s annual mission, assembling and delivering Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets. This fundraiser began with our Baskets for Baskets event on August 14th and continual fundraising since. Thanks so much to everyone who showed support through monetary donations, panty items, and cheering them on at the event!
