An Amazing Start to a New Sunday School Year!
We held our annual Promotion Sunday on August 4. We kicked off our new 2019-2020 Sunday School year in style. It was an exciting day for the kids and for the whole church!
We began with a Continental Breakfast at 8:30 AM. At 9:00 we met for combined assembly at with all of our Sunday School classes.
The children promoting to new classes received their certificates during the assembly. We are so excited for them to move into new classes and learn about God in new ways. Their teachers and classmates warmly welcomed them and look forward to building great memories together.
Our children going into First Grade and those promoting to our Youth Department were presented with a Bible during our Worship Service. This is a tradition we have at Haven to recognize these big moments. We hope the kids feel noticed and appreciated as they make these big life steps. We also hope that they continue turn to God’s word in each chapter of their life.
